About the Role

Our tele‑ICU program delivers 24/7 monitoring, real‑time patient assessments, and rapid response protocols for hospitals nationwide. As a Remote ICU RN, you’ll collaborate with on‑site physicians and nursing staff to manage ventilators, interpret arterial blood gases, and troubleshoot complex hemodynamic scenarios—all via secure video and data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual bedside rounds, assess vital signs, and document findings in the EMR.
• Coordinate with hospital teams to adjust ventilator settings, medication orders, and fluid management.
• Provide rapid response interventions during code blue or cardiac arrest events.
• Deliver patient and family education on disease processes, recovery plans, and discharge readiness.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including morbidity & mortality reviews and protocol updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent; RN licensure in the U.S. required.
• Minimum of 3 years ICU experience, with proven proficiency in mechanical ventilation and critical care pharmacology.
• Comfortable with telehealth technology, including secure video, EMR integration, and remote monitoring devices.
• Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex data to multidisciplinary teams.
• Availability for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays (as needed).
