Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop network interoperability concepts and prototypes for multi‑platform RF link systems.
- Collaborate with a cross‑functional team of system and software engineers to create software‑defined radio networking solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on networking architecture, protocol integration, and performance optimization.
- Develop and execute test plans, simulations, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop evaluations.
- Document technical specifications, design reviews, and validation results.
- Support integration of tactical data links into existing and future platforms.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (must be a US citizen).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in RF communications, tactical data links, or software‑defined radio.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, signal processing, and systems integration.
- Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, STK) and programming languages such as C/C++ or Python.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Link‑16, JTIDS, or similar military tactical data link standards.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and security clearance requirements.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware test equipment and RF lab environments.
