Job Summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Manager, Trade Compliance in Brampton, Ontario. This full‑time role leads the company’s trade compliance programme, ensuring all import, export and sanctions activities meet Canadian and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain L3Harris’s global trade compliance strategy across all business units.
• Lead a team of compliance analysts, providing coaching, performance reviews and professional development.
• Conduct risk assessments, internal audits and gap analyses to identify compliance vulnerabilities.
• Advise senior leadership on regulatory changes, sanctions, customs duties and licensing requirements.
• Manage relationships with customs brokers, government agencies and external legal counsel.
• Prepare and submit export licences, EAR/ITAR classifications and other mandatory filings.
• Deliver training programmes and awareness campaigns for employees worldwide.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of progressive experience in trade compliance, customs brokerage or related regulatory functions.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams in a multinational environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of Canadian export controls, US EAR/ITAR, EU dual‑use regulations and global sanctions regimes.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Certified Export Compliance Professional (CECP) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive compliance culture change.
