Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field bridge inspection crews on multiple projects.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct comprehensive bridge inspections following federal and state guidelines.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, condition assessments, and rehabilitation recommendations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Mentor junior inspectors and provide on‑site training on safety protocols and inspection techniques.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, FHWA, and agency-specific safety standards.
• Assist in developing inspection scopes, budgets, and resource allocations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of bridge inspection experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and NCHRP guidelines.
• Proficient in inspection software (e.g., BridgeInspect, GIS, AutoCAD).
• Excellent communication, report writing, and client‑interaction skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Southeast region.
