About This Position
Job Summary
Core & Main is seeking a Sr Project Mgr Non-Tech to lead non‑technical projects in Gilbert, Maricopa County, US. This senior role oversees project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication for water, wastewater, storm drainage, and fire protection initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage non‑technical projects from initiation through close‑out, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget.
- Serve as primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, and municipal clients.
- Develop detailed project schedules, risk registers, and status reports for senior leadership.
- Monitor project performance, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Core & Main policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Facilitate project meetings, capture minutes, and track action items.
- Mentor junior project staff and promote best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing non‑technical projects in infrastructure, utilities, or similar sectors.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, budgeting, and contract management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with municipal officials and contractors.
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
Compensation & Benefits
