Job Summary

NavitasPartners is seeking a Senior Engineer – Generative AI & Agentic Frameworks to work remotely from Montréal, Québec (US/Canada). This contract/full‑time role leads the design and delivery of enterprise‑scale AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy generative AI models and agentic frameworks for large‑scale enterprise use.
• Build and maintain robust, cloud‑native AI pipelines (AWS, Azure, GCP) that scale with demand.
• Implement governance, monitoring, and performance‑optimization practices to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to best‑practice documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML systems.
• Deep expertise in generative AI (LLMs, diffusion models) and agentic architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and modern DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex AI).
• Strong understanding of model governance, security, and ethical AI considerations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation, or multi‑modal AI.
• Knowledge of MLOps platforms such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Weights & Biases.
• Familiarity with micro‑service architecture and event‑driven design.
