ESS is seeking a Seasonal Onboard Supervisor for its Alaska Railroad operations in Anchorage, Alaska. This full‑time seasonal role offers a pay rate of $18‑$20 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily onboard food service operations and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage a team of food service staff, schedule shifts, and conduct performance coaching.
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and maintain proper storage conditions.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold Certified Food Protection Manager standards.
• Coordinate with train crew and rail management to ensure smooth service delivery.

Requirements

• Alaska TIPS/TAPS Card (mandatory).
• Certified Food Protection Manager certification.
• Previous supervisory experience in a food service or hospitality setting, preferably in a mobile or transportation environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work rotating 3‑day on/2‑day off schedules and up to 14‑hour shifts.
