Scrum Lead – Chassis Analytics
About This Position
General Motors is hiring a Scrum Lead for its Chassis Analytics team in Bismarck, Burleigh County, US. Lead a scrum team of 6‑12 engineers developing AI‑driven software for braking, steering, suspension and vehicle dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) for a cross‑functional team of engineers.
- Guide the design, development, testing and deployment of chassis analytics software solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists, machine‑learning engineers, and domain experts to translate vehicle dynamics data into actionable insights.
- Maintain product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals and safety standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Report progress and metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a Scrum Master or Agile Lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and DevOps practices.
- Hands‑on experience with data analytics, machine learning, or AI, preferably in automotive chassis domains.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Proficiency with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and modern programming languages (Python, C++, Java).
Preferred Experience
- Background in automotive engineering, vehicle dynamics, or related vehicle domains.
- Familiarity with CAN bus data, sensor fusion, and real‑time data processing.
- Certification as Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or Agile Coach.
