Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on medical‑surgical and telemetry units.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and post‑discharge instructions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety rounds, and evidence‑based practice projects.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of Nebraska.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of Med‑Surg or Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
