Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care in line with YNHHS clinical standards.
• Deliver safe, evidence‑based nursing interventions across ICU, CCU and step‑down units as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists and support staff.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date patient records and documentation in the electronic health system.
• Educate patients, families and junior staff on care plans and post‑discharge needs.
• Participate in unit audits, quality improvement projects and safety initiatives.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN registration in New York State.
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in an intensive care setting.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS and preferably CCRN.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritise rapidly changing situations.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.
