About the Role

Harbor Law Group is seeking a detail‑oriented Paralegal to join our remote legal team. You will collaborate closely with attorneys, manage case files, conduct legal research, and ensure seamless administrative support across multiple practice areas. This position offers the flexibility of remote work without compromising on professional growth or impact.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Draft, proofread, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools.
• Coordinate discovery materials, schedule depositions, and manage attorney calendars.
• Maintain case management systems and ensure accurate data entry for client files.
• Assist with client intake, document collection, and follow‑up communications.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting attorneys in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while meeting tight deadlines.

Education and Experience

While a formal paralegal certificate is preferred, we also consider candidates with relevant work experience and a proven track record of reliability. Familiarity with e‑discovery tools and basic bookkeeping is a plus.

Compensation

Salary Range: $45,000 – $65,000 USD/year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
