About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Substance Abuse Counselor to join our virtual team. As a remote counselor, you will provide evidence-based therapy, assessment, and treatment planning to individuals and groups dealing with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for individuals with substance use disorders

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Requirements

Education and Certification

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• Valid state licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Addiction Counselor
• Certification in substance abuse counseling preferred (e.g., LPC, LCSW, CADC)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in addiction treatment and counseling
