About the Role

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of large‑scale infrastructure and industrial projects. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams—design, procurement, construction, and commissioning—to translate client requirements into actionable engineering plans. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation plans.
• Lead technical reviews, design verification, and constructability assessments to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Manage change control processes, evaluating scope, cost, and schedule impacts before approval.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and project coordinators, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Prepare and present project status reports, risk registers, and earned‑value analyses to senior leadership.

Requirements

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a strong plus.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior project engineering or project management capacity.
• Proven track record delivering projects valued over $50 M in sectors such as transportation, water/wastewater, energy, or industrial facilities.
• Deep familiarity with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and BIM coordination tools (Navisworks, Revit).

Technical Competencies

• Advanced knowledge of ASCE, AISC, ACI, NEC, and relevant local building codes.
• Expertise in cost estimating, value engineering, and constructability analysis.
• Strong command of contract administration (FIDIC, AIA, EJCDC) and dispute resolution processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing remote or distributed project teams across multiple time zones.
