Key Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight & Compliance

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system tailored for a remote-first workforce.
• Conduct regular virtual audits and risk assessments to ensure 100% compliance with state and federal safety regulations.
• Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring legislative changes and updating company policies in real-time.

Training & Culture

• Design and deliver engaging, interactive safety training modules via our Learning Management System (LMS).
• Foster a “Safety First” culture by implementing incentive programs that reward proactive hazard reporting.
• Lead monthly safety committee meetings to review incident reports and implement corrective actions.

Incident Management

• Oversee the end-to-end investigation of all safety incidents, utilizing root-cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with insurance providers to ensure fair and efficient resolutions.
• Maintain meticulous digital records of all safety certifications, inspections, and training logs.

Requirements

Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in safety management, with a proven track record of reducing workplace accidents.
