About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will provide expert nursing care coordination for post-acute patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. You’ll work closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

As a Remote Medical/Surgical RN, your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive patient assessments via telehealth platforms, developing and implementing individualized care plans, coordinating with physicians and specialists, managing medication orders, and providing ongoing patient education. You’ll utilize advanced telehealth technology to monitor patient progress, identify potential complications early, and intervene when necessary to prevent readmissions.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing in your state of residence
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated workspace
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with remote/telehealth nursing
• Case management certification (RN-BC or CCM)
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Experience with chronic disease management

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range:

$75,000 – $95,000 USD/year (based on experience and qualifications)
