About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, EDR, firewall, cloud, and endpoint protection tools.
• Investigate potential security incidents and document timelines, root causes, and recommended actions.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and help prioritize remediation efforts with IT teams.
• Support compliance activities related to security policies, audits, access reviews, and risk documentation.
• Review user access, authentication events, and privileged account activity for suspicious behavior.
• Assist with security awareness initiatives and help promote safe remote work practices.
• Create clear reports, dashboards, and summaries for leadership and technical teams.
• Contribute to incident response plans, playbooks, and post-incident improvement efforts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity analysis, SOC operations, risk management, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of security concepts including threat detection, vulnerability management, access control, encryption, and incident response.
• Experience using security tools such as SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, firewalls, antivirus systems, or cloud security monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or similar standards.
• Ability to analyze logs, identify patterns, and communicate security risks clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications
