About the Role

As a Remote Physician, you will conduct virtual consultations, diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, and develop personalized treatment plans for a diverse patient population spanning urban, rural, and underserved communities. Key Responsibilities

• Perform video and phone visits for acute, chronic, preventive, and behavioral health concerns.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic modalities.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans, including prescribing medications, recommending lifestyle modifications, and coordinating referrals.
• Document encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with coding and billing standards.
• Provide patient education, self‑management coaching, and motivational interviewing to promote adherence and wellness.

Requirements

Education & Licensure

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. or internationally recognized institution.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; eligibility to obtain additional state licenses via licensure compact or individual state processes.
• Board certification or active eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, or a related primary care specialty.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post‑residency; prior telehealth or virtual care experience is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with major telehealth platforms (e.g., Amwell, Teladoc, Doxy.me) and electronic health record systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly in a virtual setting.
• Strong clinical reasoning, time‑management, and organizational abilities to handle a variable patient volume.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA, and following state‑specific telemedicine laws.
