About the Role

As a Home-Based Light Truck Driver, you are the final mile connection for high-value regional routes. This is not a gig-economy hustle; it is a full-time, W-2 career with a dedicated route that starts and ends at your residence. We provide a late-model box truck or straight truck (under 26,000 GVW) that you park securely at your home overnight. Your workday begins when you log into our proprietary routing app from your kitchen table, conduct a digital pre-trip inspection, and roll out. You handle dedicated lanes for retail, wholesale, and specialized freight—think palletized goods, fixtures, and temperature-controlled totes—returning home daily with zero forced dispatch and zero sleeper berth nights.

We have reimagined the driver experience by removing the terminal bottleneck. You manage your Hours of Service (HOS) via our integrated ELD tablet, communicate directly with a dedicated Fleet Success Manager via Slack or phone, and submit paperwork electronically through our driver portal. What You Will Do

• Operate a company-assigned light truck (Class C / Non-CDL or Class B CDL) from a home-based terminal.
• Execute dedicated, recurring regional routes (150–350 miles daily) with consistent home-time daily.
• Perform digital DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports) and pre/post-trip inspections via mobile app.
• Manage load securement, liftgate operation, and curbside/white-glove delivery protocols.
• Maintain strict DOT compliance, HOS logs, and CSA scores using provided Samsara/KeepTruckin ELD hardware.
• Act as the primary brand ambassador during customer interactions at delivery points.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must-Haves

• Valid Driver’s License (Class C minimum; Class B CDL preferred but not required for sub-26k GVW units).
• Clean MVR (3 years) with no major violations (DUI, Reckless, Hit & Run) and < 3 minor moving violations.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable experience operating box trucks, straight trucks, or similar commercial vehicles.
• Ability to pass DOT Physical, Pre-Employment Drug Screen, and Background Check.
• Secure, off-street parking (driveway, pad, or private lot) for a 24ft–26ft truck at primary residence.
• Smartphone proficiency (iOS/Android) for ELD, Navigation, and Workflow apps.

Preferred Assets

• Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement.
• Experience with liftgate, pallet jack, and hand-truck operation.
• Previous dedicated route or final-mile delivery experience.
• OSHA 10 or Safety Certification.

Salary Range & Compensation Package

Estimated Annual Earnings: $58,000 – $78,000 USD/Year

• Daily Guarantee: $220 – $260 / day (based on route density and experience).
• Mileage Pay: $0.58 – $0.68 CPM on dispatched miles.
• Accessorial Pay: $15/stop, $25/liftgate deployment, $50/delivery appointment wait time (after 1hr free).
• Quarterly Safety Bonus: Up to $1,500 for clean inspections, zero preventable incidents, and ELS compliance.
