About the Role

As our Information Security Analyst, you will be the frontline defender of our digital ecosystem. This is not a standard “check-the-box” security role; you will be deeply integrated into our proactive threat hunting and incident response workflows. Working entirely remotely, you will have the autonomy to manage complex security projects while collaborating with a global team of elite engineers.

Your primary mission will be to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats before they can impact our clients. You will conduct deep-dive forensic analysis, manage vulnerability assessments, and ensure our security posture evolves as rapidly as the threat landscape itself. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic and system logs to identify suspicious activity and potential security breaches.
• Perform regular vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation efforts across various cloud and on-premise environments.
• Lead incident response procedures, including containment, eradication, and recovery of systems during security events.
• Develop and refine security policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks.
• Conduct security awareness training for internal staff to mitigate social engineering risks.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to integrate security protocols into the CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned professional who doesn’t just follow protocols but seeks to improve them. To succeed in this remote position, you must possess a deep technical foundation and the discipline to manage your time effectively without direct supervision.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a dedicated Information Security or SOC Analyst role.
• Proficiency in SIEM tools (such as Splunk, Sentinel, or ELK Stack) and EDR solutions.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and common network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Demonstrated ability to perform packet analysis and forensic investigations.

Certifications & Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or CEH are highly desirable.
