We’re looking for a passionate Remote Engineer to join our high‑performing product team. If you thrive in a fully distributed environment, love turning complex problems into clean code, and want to make an impact on millions of users worldwide, this is the role for you.

Salary Range

Estimated total compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 USD per year, depending on experience, skill set, and performance bonuses.

About the Role

As a Remote Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power our SaaS platform. You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers across multiple time zones, using Agile methodologies to deliver high‑quality releases every sprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, code, test, and deploy micro‑services in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical specifications and product roadmaps.
  • Write clean, reusable, and well‑documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and mentorship of junior engineers.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement automated solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in a remote or distributed setting.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or Node.js).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design, data modeling, and relational/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Excellent communication skills and a self‑starter attitude; ability to manage time effectively across time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (or proven equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with serverless architectures and event‑driven systems.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, including OWASP and GDPR compliance.
  • Contributions to open‑source projects or a strong personal GitHub portfolio.
  • Experience with front‑end technologies (React, Vue, or Angular) for full‑stack collaboration.

Benefits & Perks

  • Fully remote – work from anywhere in the United States (or globally, if legally permissible).
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones and personal schedules.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) matching up to 5% of salary.
  • Generous paid time off, plus company‑wide holidays.
  • Professional development stipend for conferences, courses, or certifications.
  • Home office allowance – ergonomic chair, monitor, and tech accessories.
  • Team‑building retreats (optional) and virtual social events.
