Salary Range

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via secure video conferencing.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, ensuring safety and efficacy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with therapists and primary care providers.

Patient Advocacy & Management

• Maintain meticulous electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization for patients in acute distress.
• Educate patients and their families on medication side effects and holistic wellness strategies.
• Ensure a high standard of patient satisfaction through empathetic communication and active listening.

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Active, unrestricted NP license in the state of Texas.
• DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Proven experience in psychiatric care, preferably with a background in telehealth or remote patient monitoring.
