About the Role

As a Remote Electrical Project Manager, you will be the central point of contact for multiple concurrent projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. You’ll coordinate with electricians, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients using cloud-based tools, ensuring every phase meets safety, quality, and timeline standards. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from scope definition through final punch list and closeout.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using MS Project or equivalent.
• Conduct virtual site walkthroughs with on-site teams (video calls, photos, drones).
• Review and approve electrical designs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Track material procurement, labor allocation, and subcontractor performance remotely.
• Provide weekly status reports to stakeholders using dashboards and presentations.
• Ensure strict adherence to NEC, OSHA, and local codes without on-site presence.

Who You Are

You are a seasoned electrical project leader who can read blueprints in your sleep, negotiate contracts with confidence, and keep a dozen plates spinning—all from your home office. You have at least 5 years of proven experience managing electrical projects and hold relevant certifications. You are tech-savvy, organized, and excel at building trust with teams you rarely meet in person.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of trade experience and formal training.
• Certifications: PMP or CAPM preferred; NICET or licensed electrician background is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MS Project, and collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Teams).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional written/verbal communication, ability to manage remote teams, and strong problem-solving under pressure.
• Work Environment: Dedicated home office with high-speed internet, backup power plan, and ability to work core hours overlapping with U.S. time zones (EST/CST preferred).

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000 USD per year (commensurate with experience and location).
