About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of complex electrical construction and upgrade projects. Working 100 % remotely, you will collaborate with field engineers, procurement specialists, and client stakeholders to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence. This position offers the autonomy to manage projects from your home office while traveling occasionally to key sites for critical milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical installations ranging from substations to utility‑scale solar arrays.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including design engineers, contractors, and vendors—to meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project performance using earned value management; implement corrective actions to keep scope, cost, and timeline on track.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting progress reports, risk assessments, and change‑order negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, OSHA, and local utility standards throughout all project phases.
• Lead lessons‑learned sessions and contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience managing electrical construction projects valued at $5 M+.
• Proven expertise with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Electrical design review.
• Strong knowledge of medium‑voltage distribution, protective relaying, and SCADA integration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state (or ability to obtain reciprocity).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage).
• Familiarity with Agile project management frameworks applied to engineering delivery.

Salary Range
