About the Role

The Remote Safety Manager will serve as the primary authority on workplace safety, ensuring our remote and on‑site operations meet or exceed OSHA, ISO 45001, and other relevant regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive safety policies and procedures tailored for a remote workforce.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, site inspections, and incident investigations, driving corrective actions and tracking performance metrics.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and prepare for certifications or inspections.
• Lead safety training programs, including virtual sessions, e‑learning modules, and on‑site drills, fostering a safety‑first mindset.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as recordable injury rates, near‑miss reporting, and safety audit scores, presenting dashboards to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with procurement and facilities teams to evaluate vendor safety practices and maintain a safe work environment for all contractors.

Requirements

To excel in this Remote Safety Manager position, candidates should possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field; a master’s degree is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive safety experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Current CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CHSP, or equivalent certification is required.
• Proven ability to develop and enforce safety programs in technology, manufacturing, or similar fast‑paced environments.
