About the Role

As our Director of Clinical Services, you will be the strategic and operational backbone of our clinical delivery model. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including providers, care coordinators, and executive leadership—to design, implement, and refine clinical programs that set the standard for high-quality, accessible care. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute clinical strategies that align with our mission, drive growth, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of remote clinicians, nurse managers, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee clinical quality programs, including performance improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice implementation, and adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines.
• Operational Excellence: Optimize clinical workflows, manage productivity metrics, and ensure efficient resource allocation across all service lines.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner with the product, data, and operations teams to translate clinical insights into actionable improvements and innovative care models.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all clinical operations comply with national and state-specific regulations, licensure requirements, and accreditation standards.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or a related field. Active, unrestricted RN or APRN license required.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in a clinical setting, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role, preferably in telehealth or a healthcare startup.
• Clinical Expertise: Strong clinical judgment and the ability to interpret complex medical data. Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance regulations.
• Technical Acumen: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, telehealth platforms, and healthcare analytics tools.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence without direct authority across diverse teams.
• Residency: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside in the U.S. (Remote positions are available for residents of any U.S. state, with preference for Eastern or Central time zones).

Salary Range Estimation

In alignment with industry standards for a senior-level remote healthcare executive, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $115,000 – $145,000 USD, depending on experience, geographic location, and licensure. This role also qualifies for a performance-based incentive bonus of up to 15% of base salary, bringing total on-target earnings to $132,000 – $166,000 USD.
