Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences for government‑focused web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and subject‑matter experts to translate requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions.
- Maintain design systems, style guides, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) across all digital products.
- Provide design assets and specifications using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of proven UI/UX design experience, preferably in federal or large‑scale enterprise environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end design processes and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Axure).
- Knowledge of front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate communication with development teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Eligibility for a security clearance or ability to obtain one.
