Sumitomo Pharma is seeking a Territory Sales Manager, Oncology to lead commercial activities in Cedar, Cole County, US. This full‑time role offers a competitive annual salary of $134,385.64.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan for oncology products, targeting physicians, hospitals and cancer centers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, oncologists and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and market share goals within the assigned territory.
- Provide product education, clinical data and training to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs and market access teams to align strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports and activity logs in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 2 years focused on oncology.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong knowledge of oncology therapeutics, treatment pathways and clinical guidelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel within the Cedar territory (approximately 30% travel).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
