Loan Analyst/Loan Processor – Genesis Capital, Los Angeles, CA
Genesis Capital is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Analyst/Loan Processor to join its Los Angeles team. In this role you will support the origination team to move loan applications through the Genesis funding process while delivering a top‑notch borrower experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Relationship Associates in converting loan applications into funded loans.
- Gather, verify, and input borrower documentation into the loan origination system.
- Communicate regularly with borrowers, internal teams, and third‑party vendors to ensure timely loan closing.
- Monitor loan pipeline, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company lending regulations.
- Prepare and review loan packages for accuracy before submission to underwriting.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan lifecycle.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1‑3 years of experience in loan processing, underwriting assistance, or financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of loan documentation, credit analysis, and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously.
Compensation
Salary: $55,514.23 per year (fixed). Additional benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
