Job Summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Technical Support Engineer II in Atlanta, Fulton County, US. This role provides world‑class technical assistance for Rocket’s software products, supporting customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve installation, configuration, and functionality issues for Rocket Software solutions.
• Provide timely, high‑quality support via phone, email, and remote sessions.
• Document cases, solutions, and best practices in the knowledge base.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to reproduce bugs and suggest enhancements.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
• Assist in creating and delivering technical documentation and training materials.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in technical support or software engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking concepts, and database technologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced support team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Rocket Software products or similar enterprise software.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• ITIL or other IT service management certifications.
