About This Position
Job Summary
UNC Health Care is seeking a Supervisor Revenue Integrity for its HIM Revenue Integrity team in Five Points, Wake County, US. This role oversees staff and daily operations of the Revenue Integrity Program, ensuring efficient, high‑quality processes that meet service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of revenue integrity analysts, providing performance feedback and professional development.
- Manage daily workflow, ensuring accurate charge capture, coding compliance, and timely claim submissions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with clinical, billing, and finance departments to resolve revenue cycle discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and UNC Health Care policies, including compliance with HIPAA and payer regulations.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance revenue capture and reduce denials.
- Conduct regular audits and root‑cause analyses to maintain data integrity.
- Participate in budget planning and assist with forecasting revenue projections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in revenue integrity, health information management, or revenue cycle management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of ICD‑10‑CM, CPT, HCPCS coding, and payer guidelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with revenue cycle software (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced, compliance‑focused environment.
Compensation & Benefits
