Staff – CT Technologist

Job Summary

UCHealth is hiring a full‑time Staff CT Technologist to work night shifts in the Emergency Department at UCHealth Aurora Central, Aurora, Colorado.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality computed tomography (CT) imaging for emergency department patients.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning, protocol selection, and radiation safety compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and radiology staff to prioritize urgent studies.
• Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and document procedures in the EMR.
• Provide patient education on the CT process and address any concerns.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and night‑shift coverage as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Registered CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with Colorado licensure.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of CT experience, preferably in an emergency or acute care setting.
• Strong knowledge of CT protocols, contrast administration, and radiation safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and handle high‑volume workloads.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $37.35 – $52.29 per hour, based on experience (approximately $113,424 annual). Full‑time schedule: 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks), nights.
