Applied Accountancy is seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant in Gardena, Los Angeles County. This full‑time role offers a salary of $93,312.68 and involves preparing and analyzing financial records for an expanding international accounting firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Assist the tax department with compliance filings, research, and client support.
• Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain and improve internal control procedures.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff on tax service projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience, preferably with tax services.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
