Job Summary

Robert Half is seeking a Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead HR operations in Newark, New Castle County, US. This role combines benefits administration, payroll oversight, HRIS optimization, and strategic process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end‑to‑end benefits administration, including annual renewals and employee communications.
  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance with federal and state regulations, and timely resolution of payroll issues.
  • Maintain and continuously improve HRIS/payroll systems to increase efficiency and data integrity.
  • Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll expenses, resolve discrepancies, and support budgeting initiatives.
  • Develop and implement process improvements that streamline HR workflows and enhance employee experience.
  • Handle confidential employee information with the highest level of discretion and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Generate regular HR metrics and reports for senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including payroll and benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP) and ability to lead system enhancements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.

Compensation

Salary range: $111,973.19 per year.
