Job Summary

Fujifilm is seeking an experienced MRO Buyer I to join its Ny State Campus in Albany County, NY. This role supports facility operations by procuring maintenance, repair, and operating supplies, capital equipment, and related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop relationships with new and existing suppliers for MRO and capital goods.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate quotes, and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Generate purchase orders, ensure accurate order entry, and monitor order status through expediting.
• Coordinate receipt, inspection, and proper documentation of goods and services.
• Process returns, handle discrepancies, and maintain thorough purchasing records.
• Collaborate closely with Facility Associates to understand material needs and forecast demand.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular reports on spend, supplier performance, and cost‑saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in MRO environments.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP or purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $74,299.56 annually (fixed). Fujifilm offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off.
