Job Summary
Johns Hopkins University is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst, Faculty Practice for the School of Medicine – Central Finance in East Case, Baltimore. This role drives clinical performance reporting, physician workforce planning, business plan development, and budget management for the Clinical Practice Association.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze clinical performance reports across the School of Medicine.
- Support physician workforce planning by providing financial forecasts and staffing scenarios.
- Create, review, and update business plans and financial models for faculty practice initiatives.
- Manage annual and quarterly budgets, monitoring variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Deliver data‑driven insights to senior leadership to influence strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and clinical teams to ensure alignment of financial goals.
- Maintain compliance with university financial policies and external regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; Master’s or CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in academic or healthcare settings.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and reporting skills using Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information to non‑financial audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Compensation
Salary: $128,641.76 annually
