About This Position
The Specialist, Partnership Management at Pearson in Bismarck, Burleigh County (US) provides concierge‑level support to both new and existing Board members throughout their entire lifecycle. This role ensures seamless onboarding, training, meeting coordination and governance compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for Board members, guiding them through onboarding, orientation and ongoing engagement.
- Coordinate logistics for Board meetings, including venue setup, virtual platform management, agenda distribution and minutes preparation.
- Maintain accurate Board member records, certifications and compliance documentation.
- Develop and deliver training materials, governance guides and regulatory updates to ensure Board members stay informed.
- Collaborate with internal legal, finance and communications teams to align Board activities with corporate policies.
- Monitor and report on Board performance metrics, attendance and engagement trends.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the Board experience and propose process improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in partnership, stakeholder or Board support roles, preferably within the education or publishing sector.
- Exceptional organizational and project‑management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities; comfortable presenting to senior executives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, board management software and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Compensation
