Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation and direct support to special‑education teachers and families across Pearson Online Academy and Connections Academy.
• Develop, adapt, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that align with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with curriculum designers to ensure accessibility and differentiation in virtual coursework.
• Conduct virtual assessments, progress monitoring, and data‑driven reporting for students with diverse learning needs.
• Lead professional development workshops and webinars for staff on best practices in special‑education technology and instruction.
• Serve as a liaison between Pearson, school districts, and external service providers to coordinate resources and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
