Job Summary
Data Business Equipment is seeking a Service Technician in Rockwall, Rockwall County, TX. The role involves on‑site support and troubleshooting of banking equipment such as ATMs, cash recyclers, and security systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and emergency service calls for ATMs, ITMs, cash recyclers, cash counters, security systems, and video surveillance equipment.
- Diagnose hardware and software issues, execute repairs, and verify proper operation before leaving the site.
- Maintain detailed service reports in the company’s ticketing system, documenting parts used and time spent.
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing the company’s brand positively to bank personnel.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and configuration changes as required.
- Follow safety protocols and compliance standards for handling cash‑handling devices.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues and share knowledge.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ATM Service Certification) preferred.
- 2+ years of experience servicing banking or financial technology equipment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication skills and customer‑focused attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to travel within the Rockwall area.
- Basic knowledge of networking, Windows OS, and security system software.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: $54,824.89 (fixed). Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and ongoing training.
