About This Position
Join Humana in Grandview Heights, Franklin County as a Senior Compliance Professional. This senior‑level role reports to the Associate Director of Compliance and is responsible for safeguarding the company’s adherence to complex regulatory and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, assessment, and remediation of moderately complex to complex compliance issues across the organization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls that align with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular compliance audits, risk assessments, and internal investigations.
- Prepare and present detailed compliance reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, and IT teams to ensure cross‑functional compliance integration.
- Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices, providing proactive guidance to business units.
- Mentor junior compliance staff and foster a culture of ethical conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CCEP, CPA, JD) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit within a regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, CMS) and contractual compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex regulations and translate them into actionable policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with compliance management software and data‑analysis tools.
Compensation & Benefits
