Job Summary
Humana is seeking a Senior Compliance Professional in Cammack Village, Pulaski County, US. This senior‑level role reports to the Associate Director of Compliance and is responsible for managing complex regulatory and contractual compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret, implement, and monitor federal, state, and local regulations affecting Humana’s operations.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risk.
- Conduct thorough audits and investigations of moderately complex to complex compliance issues.
- Prepare and present detailed compliance reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Lead training programs to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Stay current on evolving regulatory landscapes and advise on necessary policy adjustments.
- Provide strategic guidance on compliance matters that impact business objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in compliance, preferably within the healthcare or insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and other relevant statutes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex regulatory language and translate it into actionable policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven project‑management experience and ability to work autonomously.
- Professional certifications such as CCEP, CHC, or CCEP are a plus.
Compensation
Salary range: $147,330.62 per year.
