Scrum Master (1060)

BCforward is seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a 6‑month contract, working remotely or hybrid from its Brooklyn, Ohio office (4910 Tiedeman Rd). The role pays $45.67/hr (W2) with a total annualized salary of $75,673.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives for multiple Agile teams.
• Remove impediments and protect the team from external disruptions.
• Collaborate with product owners to ensure clear, well‑groomed backlogs.
• Track and report sprint metrics, velocity, and progress to stakeholders.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices and Scrum framework.
• Maintain compliance with BCforward’s governance and security standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Scrum Master experience in a technology consulting environment.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to work in a remote or hybrid setting and manage distributed teams.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.

Preferred Experience

• Background supporting Fortune 500 or government clients.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
• Experience with scaling frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate: $45.67 (W2) – equivalent to $75,673 annually. Contract length: 6 months with potential extension based on performance.
