Key Responsibilities
- Act as Scrum Leader for the in‑house Chassis Analytics team, guiding daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Coordinate the design, development, testing and deployment of machine‑learning and AI solutions for chassis domains.
- Collaborate with product owners, data scientists and hardware engineers to translate vehicle performance data into actionable insights.
- Maintain the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure delivery aligns with GM’s quality and safety standards.
- Mentor and coach engineers (6‑12 members) on Agile best practices, code quality and continuous integration.
- Track metrics, remove impediments and report progress to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a Scrum Master or Scrum Lead role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle chassis systems (braking, steering, suspension, dynamics) and experience applying analytics or ML to these domains.
- Proficiency with Python, C++, SQL and modern data‑science libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn).
- Hands‑on experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and team‑building skills.
