Job Summary
Ochsner Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med/Surg Post‑Op care at its Ochsner Baptist facility in New Orleans, Orleans Parish. This full‑time position offers a competitive salary of $111,076.16 and a sign‑on bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality nursing care to post‑operative patients on medical‑surgical floors.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post‑operative recovery, wound care, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Louisiana.

- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
