About This Position
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Cost Analyst to join its Sacramento office, delivering data‑driven cost risk insights for large‑scale infrastructure and real‑estate projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse project budgets, forecasts and risk registers to quantify cost exposure.
- Develop and maintain risk‑adjusted cost models using Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and finance teams to integrate risk assessments into programme reporting.
- Prepare clear, actionable reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Identify mitigation strategies and support decision‑making on contingency allocation.
- Monitor actual versus forecasted costs and update risk assumptions throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cost risk analysis, preferably within infrastructure, real‑estate or energy sectors.
- Strong analytical abilities with advanced Excel skills; familiarity with statistical modelling and data visualisation tools.
- Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex data into concise recommendations.
- Proficiency in risk management frameworks (e.g., Monte Carlo simulation, P50/P90 analysis).
- Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
