About This Position

General Atomics is hiring a Project Manager II in West Acton, Middlesex County, US. This role leads high‑tech engineering projects for the company’s Electromagnetic Systems division, delivering cutting‑edge power generation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and close complex electromagnetic and electric power projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, test, and supply chain.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, risk registers, and cost forecasts.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing status reports and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons‑learned documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of project management experience in high‑technology or aerospace environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams and deliver technically complex programs.
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering, risk management, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
