About This Position
ARA Career is seeking a full‑time Project Manager 2 for its Prototype, Manufacturing and Integration (PMI) division at the Madison, AL site in Capshaw, Limestone County. This role oversees complex contracts, manages scope, budget and schedule, and supports senior program leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on‑site project management and coordination for multiple DoW contracts.
- Assist Program Managers in defining project scope, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
- Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present status reports, cost forecasts, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and integration.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
- Facilitate change‑order processes and manage contract modifications.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of project management experience on Department of War or similar federal contracts.
- Proven ability to manage multi‑million‑dollar budgets (USD 110,000–125,000 salary range).
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle, risk management, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera, or comparable scheduling tools.
- Security clearance or ability to obtain one is a plus.
