About This Position
University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Douglas County seeks a Pediatric Oncology Research Nurse Coordinator I to join the Child Health Research Institute. This full‑time, hybrid role offers a salary of $36,579.15 annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage pediatric oncology clinical research studies from initiation through closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investigators, participants, and sponsor representatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations, including IRB and GCP guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate study documentation, case report forms, and regulatory submissions.
- Monitor patient enrollment, schedule visits, and facilitate data collection and entry.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve protocol-related issues.
- Provide education and support to families participating in research studies.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 1‑2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in oncology or pediatrics.
- Knowledge of clinical research processes, IRB submissions, and FDA regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a hybrid on‑site/remote team.
Work Schedule & Benefits
