Job Summary

Advocate Health and Hospitals Corporation is seeking a Collections Supervisor to lead its internal self‑pay collections team. This full‑time, remote role is based in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, US, with a competitive salary range of $59,384‑$89,128.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine collection policies and procedures to maximize patient payment compliance.
• Supervise a team of collection specialists, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
• Monitor daily collection metrics, generate reports, and present insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with finance, billing, and patient services departments to resolve complex payment issues.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulations regarding patient financial interactions.
• Assist new teammates on‑site with equipment setup and onboarding as needed.
• Maintain a high level of customer service while achieving collection targets.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare collections or revenue cycle management.
• Proven supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and related regulations.
• Proficiency with collections software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Experience with remote team management.

Work Schedule & Benefits

Remote work schedule: Monday‑Thursday 8:00 am‑5:30 pm EST, Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm EST (40 hours/week). Full‑time position with comprehensive benefits package.
