Key Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers for MRO items, capital equipment, and services.
• Obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and secure competitive pricing.
• Enter purchase orders, track order status, and expedite deliveries to meet production schedules.
• Process returns, manage vendor performance, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain strong relationships with Facility Associates and external vendors.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Supervisor to align buying strategies with budgetary goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional purchasing or supply‑chain coursework preferred.
• 1‑2 years of experience in MRO or general procurement.
• Proficiency with ERP or purchasing software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work East‑coast hours as required.
