Floor Customer Service – Part Time

Join Midway Building Supply in Oroville, Okanogan County, US as a Part‑Time Floor Customer Service Representative. Help customers find the right building products while supporting the TAL Building Centers mission to build better communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers on the sales floor, providing product knowledge and recommendations.
  • Answer questions about inventory, pricing, and availability, both in‑store and over the phone.
  • Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked floor, including restocking shelves and setting up displays.
  • Collaborate with the sales and delivery teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Identify customer needs and refer larger projects to professional consultants.
  • Follow company policies on safety, loss prevention, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; retail or construction‑materials experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.
  • Proficiency with computers and point‑of‑sale systems.

Compensation & Benefits
